Graphis Winner & Finalists

We are beyond excited to take home a Graphis awards for the In Bloom branding, and to have WEPA sales kit and J. Kumari sales kit named as finalists to be included in their annual awards book.

In Bloom Brand Identity & Visual Language

In Bloom, a new third concept from the Twin Cities’ Twist Davis Group, focuses on open-fire regional cooking. The northern cuisine they celebrate is a reflection of the deep connection Minnesotans have to the land – specifically to the seasonality of ingredients and venison, thus the flora/fauna identity. The deer with headdress is a key brand asset to tell this story. The deer anchors the logo and represents the whole-animal method approach they use in their cooking, but the antlers take on a different personality, reflecting the flourish and beauty of blooms, and vegetation in season.

J. Kumari Sales Kit

J. Kumari Chocolate, a small chocolate business, was expanding from a retail operation to adding catering and wholesale. Stretched on time, they needed a sales kit that could present the brand in a premium way, explain her product and cost structure, and tell a compelling story when face to face connections couldn’t be made. They wanted the sales kit to be casual but elegant, mailable, and create an experience when opened. The outer wrap of the kit shows the artful chocolates, unique packaging and quality ingredients to show a bigger story about the brand. The practical informational cards fit perfectly inside.

WEPA Sales Kit

WEPA is a paper product company out of Europe that was expanding its presence to the US market. In order to make an impact with potential retailers, WEPA needed a sales kit that would be memorable and impactful. We developed a wooden box and set of five custom die-printed sales materials. The beautiful wood box, with laser cut logo on the top, was imagined as a keepsake and way to continuously remind the retailer of the brand. The sales materials were artfully crafted and separated into different color palettes in order to present the napkin samples in a compelling way.
